Goa is a state on the west coast of India, about 600km south of Bombay (Mumbai). It was owned by the Portugese until 1961. Hence it seems a little easier to acclimatise for us westerners.
I’ve spent a lot of time there since the late 1990s, in Candolim, North Goa. I have often been asked to give others information on what to do and where to go. So I put together a dossier of information some time ago, which I have now updated and added to the website.
And for the nostalgic amongst us, or for anybody who wants to get a flavour of the place before they go, there is a Goa Gallery of my favourite photos!
