Today I take my first steps on my Churchill Fellowship path, flying to New Delhi on the first leg of my round-the-world trip.

My bags are packed, my laptop charged, my vlogging tripod stowed, my passports held close.

From now until May, I will visit a range of academics, electoral management bodies, think tanks, government agencies and journalistic organisations, seeking their insights on the impact of AI on the spread of misinformation and disinformation during elections.
